Pieman
I had a spotted thread under the same title a few years ago but only had a basic Nokia phone with a terrible camera. Now I've got a proper camera phone, I thought I'd take up spotting again. Here's today's offerings... Mazda E2200 apparently, I thought initially it was a Hiace. Split screen Moggy. This place has had various Japanese tin outside over the years. Flat tyre and hadn't moved for some time by the look of it. Workhorse. Not many about nowadays. Is T-plate early for these? I accept that the pics aren't very good, but I don't pretend to be any good at taking photos. brownnova, davocano, MKT and 14 others
tooSavvy
Nice looking MazVan.... IIRC these 'acres of flat panel' Jap boxes were assembled with a stretch/tension in the steel skinning [bit like doped canvas aero wings] to make them rigid?? Keep it up..... Mr_Bo11ox
I find myself getting increasingly attracted to a really early poverty spec Mk4 Astra, and that one looks like a cracker. 1.6 8v ENVOY, its an auto though which is a shame Jim Bell and michael t
Pieman
Some more from today... Nissan Silvia with an Autech badge, presumably some sort of import. Lurking Merc. Still a few of these about. One and a half for the price of one - will keep an eye on the Capri for signs of progress. LT35 camper. When was the last time, etc. I thought these E2200s were rare? Bonus VW and Almera too. FX4 was seemingly being cut up. Talbot camper in very good condition. Shittyrover. 2CV-based kit car, so presumably a Lomax. Taken purely for its plate. I thought these were rare too! davocano, danthecapriman, Skizzer and 6 others

Skizzer
Fine spots. That VW T25 is an early CI Kamper conversion, I imagine on an X- or Y-reg; they only came in that yellow/orange colour or white at first. We had a white one from new — NUH 414X — which is still around somewhere.
brownnova
Do love a good spotted thread! Especially liking the QX... always thought they were very understated and cool.

I thought it was a QX, or are they the same thing? Yup, same thing - but M332 POJ is indeed a QX, on these isles at least. Maxima everywhere else in the world (ok, Cefiro in Japan), and then badged as the QX Maxima in the UK onwards from 2000 on, for maximum confusion... Pieman
Thanks for the info and thanks for the kind comments so far, the photos above are just from a couple of hours walking around my home town. michael t
Pieman
Today's... VICTOR! This has been sat outside my local vet's for at least 20 years - a shame I blurred the photo cos it really doesn't show how bad it is. Not many of these about now. Multiple Multiplas. Think these are all owned by the same guy. Love it. Note the Matiz too. Lopsided Transhit camper. Caught this pulling out of a parking space just in time. Didn't look as if it had moved for a while. Ohh yes. This house used to also have a 405 Mi16 but I haven't seen it in ages. 500tops, davocano, michael t and 3 others

Pieman
Massive exhausts are clearly still in fashion somewhere. Same car park as the Scoob.
Ghosty
That blue Nissan is a Silvia Varietta, a convertible S15 Silvia. It's an import alright, we didn't get the S15, and if we did it'd be badged as a 200SX. Also, I spy a 416GTi - I wonder if that's the one for sale on Facebook at the moment. If so it has HGF and the guy wants a ridiculous £700 for it. Pieman
Pieman
Just one today. I also spotted a rather rough-looking Mk1 Megane Scenic but it drove off before I could snap it.

Pieman
Today... Nice bit of bilge. Not shite but vintage, but I couldn't resist asking the owner of this for a couple of pics... 1926 Crossley 15/30, in beautiful condition. Chap has owned it for ten years but I have never seen it before, even though it only lives a few minutes' walk from my place. Crossley owner also has this cool Scimitar (pics with owner's permission). bunglebus, RayMK, davocano and 2 others

Pieman
Today... Good condition for its age, and only about 35k miles on it. I think this is the same one I included in an earlier post. Morning campers. I have to confess I don't actually know what this is! Rusty Pooloo. The three above were taken outside a Rover specialist garage - there are some more classics inside along with a whole pile of parts and tat. Car park was barriered off so sorry the pics aren't too good as I didn't want to appear to be trespassing. Would have got more shots of this honey, but the owner was sitting in it and I didn't want to piss him off! davocano and Lord Sterling 1

Pieman
Oh, and the house pictured above with the Capri and Hilux on the drive now also has a blue Mk4 Escort van outside, but the owner has parked the Hilux in front of it so I couldn't get a shot of it. Pieman
Couple from yesterday: 205 has lived at the same place for years and is in lovely condition. Often seen outside my local church, not sure if it's the vicar's car.
