PieSpots: Shite Photos of Shite

I had a spotted thread under the same title a few years ago but only had a basic Nokia phone with a terrible camera.  Now I've got a proper camera phone, I thought I'd take up spotting again.

Here's today's offerings...

IMG_20200119_132103117_HDR~2.jpg

Mazda E2200 apparently, I thought initially it was a Hiace.

IMG_20200119_132257686_HDR~2.jpg

Split screen Moggy.

IMG_20200119_132715187_HDR~2.jpg

This place has had various Japanese tin outside over the years.

IMG_20200119_133005521_HDR~2.jpg

Flat tyre and hadn't moved for some time by the look of it.

IMG_20200119_134510065~2.jpg

Workhorse.

IMG_20200119_134804777_HDR~2.jpg

Not many about nowadays.

IMG_20200119_135828661~2.jpg

Is T-plate early for these?

IMG_20200119_140433813~2.jpg

I accept that the pics aren't very good, but I don't pretend to be any good at taking photos.

Some more from today...

IMG_20200120_154833383_HDR~2.jpg

Nissan Silvia with an Autech badge, presumably some sort of import.

IMG_20200120_155810203~2.jpg

Lurking Merc.

IMG_20200120_160047652~2.jpg

Still a few of these about.

IMG_20200120_160629766_HDR~2.jpg

One and a half for the price of one - will keep an eye on the Capri for signs of progress.

IMG_20200120_161929448~2.jpg

LT35 camper.

IMG_20200120_162126490~2.jpg

When was the last time, etc.

IMG_20200120_162515830~2.jpg

I thought these E2200s were rare?  Bonus VW and Almera too.

IMG_20200120_162837354~2.jpg

FX4 was seemingly being cut up.

IMG_20200120_164529807~2.jpg

Talbot camper in very good condition.

IMG_20200120_164537078~2.jpg

Shittyrover.

IMG_20200120_164605767~2.jpg

2CV-based kit car, so presumably a Lomax.

IMG_20200120_164913444~2.jpg

Taken purely for its plate.

IMG_20200120_165345786~2.jpg

I thought these were rare too!

Fine spots.

That VW T25 is an early CI Kamper conversion, I imagine on an X- or Y-reg; they only came in that yellow/orange colour or white at first.  We had a white one from new — NUH 414X — which is still around somewhere.

Top spots, lovely Nissan Maxima there, a rare old beast!

I thought it was a QX, or are they the same thing?

Yup, same thing - but M332 POJ is indeed a QX, on these isles at least.

Maxima everywhere else in the world (ok, Cefiro in Japan), and then badged as the QX Maxima in the UK onwards from 2000 on, for maximum confusion...

Today's...

IMG_20200124_135920047~2.jpg

VICTOR!

IMG_20200124_140124175_HDR~2.jpg

This has been sat outside my local vet's for at least 20 years - a shame I blurred the photo cos it really doesn't show how bad it is.

IMG_20200124_140433111~2.jpg

Not many of these about now.

IMG_20200124_140748396~2.jpg

Multiple Multiplas.

IMG_20200124_141036655_HDR~2.jpg

Think these are all owned by the same guy.

IMG_20200124_141118312~2.jpg

Love it.  Note the Matiz too.

IMG_20200124_141305414~2.jpg

Lopsided Transhit camper.

IMG_20200124_141411493~2.jpg

Caught this pulling out of a parking space just in time.

IMG_20200124_141706544~2.jpg

Didn't look as if it had moved for a while.

IMG_20200124_141745103~2.jpg

Ohh yes.

IMG_20200124_143226826~2.jpg

This house used to also have a 405 Mi16 but I haven't seen it in ages.

That blue Nissan is a Silvia Varietta, a convertible S15 Silvia. It's an import alright, we didn't get the S15, and if we did it'd be badged as a 200SX.

Also, I spy a 416GTi - I wonder if that's the one for sale on Facebook at the moment. If so it has HGF and the guy wants a ridiculous £700 for it.

Nice bit of bilge.

Not shite but vintage, but I couldn't resist asking the owner of this for a couple of pics...

IMG_20200515_141757367_HDR~2.jpg

1926 Crossley 15/30, in beautiful condition.  Chap has owned it for ten years but I have never seen it before, even though it only lives a few minutes' walk from my place.

IMG_20200515_142310841~2.jpg

Crossley owner also has this cool Scimitar (pics with owner's permission).

Good condition for its age, and only about 35k miles on it.

IMG_20200619_183649781~2.jpg

I think this is the same one I included in an earlier post.

IMG_20200619_183733548_HDR~2.jpg

Morning campers.

IMG_20200619_190425061~2.jpg

I have to confess I don't actually know what this is!

IMG_20200619_184323039~2.jpg

Rusty Pooloo.

IMG_20200619_190620093_HDR~2.jpg

The three above were taken outside a Rover specialist garage - there are some more classics inside along with a whole pile of parts and tat.  Car park was barriered off so sorry the pics aren't too good as I didn't want to appear to be trespassing.

IMG_20200619_192824596_HDR~2.jpg

Would have got more shots of this honey, but the owner was sitting in it and I didn't want to piss him off!
