vaughant
Plus i would get someone to check it's status first ie will it start etc? They were tough motors in their day and that one looks straight, is guess on it firing up quite easily with a battery and fresh fuel. I assume rear discs/calipers which could be an issue but again becauseford they aren't hard to unbolt and get moving. Fronting someone £1-200 to spend a bit of time on it first could save you massive dividends in the future.
BorniteIdentity
If you can get it to a stage where it’s running half decently, I’d happily get it from St Neots to St Helier. My services are now being enjoyed by the prestigious Channel 103 and Island FM in Juernsey- so will be travelling with reasonable frequency. Obviously I’d rather not drive a turkey, but if we can get it running stably then I’ll gladly courier it. mk2_craig
This car was magazine-featured back in the day. In the same issue there were plenty of similar era Fast Fords at what were then probably slightly salty prices, would love to go back and whack a few of these into a warehouse for 15 years: As regards this blue Fiesta - last week there were private message discussions with one Autoshiter who would be a much better new custodian of the car than me, and a lot better placed/equipped to retrieve from its resting place then fettle. It is my heartfelt hope that this will be the outcome - I’m prepared to put some cash in to help make it happen. Fingers crossed!
