Personally I’ll carry on putting many hundreds of pounds and many hundreds of man hours into returning my 1981 french registered Super E to the road, knowing i shall unlikely ever sell it, for a profit or otherwise. Never mind the 7k-10k bracket, there are a few being tried for double that range. DD Classics (always notorious) currently want twenty grand for a customised GTi automatic that has the wrong interior, wrong wheels, and missing bits. Seymour Pope in Kings Langley tried for two years to flog a LHD GTi for 13 grand. They seem to have failed, as the car is no longer listed. The problem is here, we are all fans of old chod, that we remember owning or being owned by parents etc.....we aren't your average 'classic' owner. This beauty is 600€ with CT. 88,000km only. In its natural habitat - 'pavillions' and chain-link fencing. Just needs a fir tree hedge.
