Popular Post twosmoke300
Managed to snare this little honey on FB marketplace . Local ish and a good honest seller who kept it for me as I was the first ( of many ) that made contact . Mot until sept next year with lovely history , two owners and only 45k . I viewed it in the dark and pissing down rain on Thursday night but figured it was worth the £250 asking so did the deal and dropped it to a nearby mates place . Collected today in dry daylight by the girlfriend who has now claimed it to replace the Ex Fatharris Rover 200 . I can’t believe how tidy , original and rust free this little thing is . Mechanically it could do with a little fettle - bit missy first thing and coolant is rusty brown so may need a head gasket at some point but not using any coolant over 30 miles and temp is bob on . Fucking love it ! Bonus period tapes too BorniteIdentity, Jim Bell, DVee8 and 64 others

bramz7
Great buy. Really love these little Cinqs. Prices seem to be climbing now so for £250, you've done well.
timolloyd
Strong evidence of giffer ownership there. £250 is a bargain! Sudsprint
HMC
Great find, so many little original details. Indoor bowlers seem to make very good former owners! The Vicar and twosmoke300

twosmoke300
They are on the fire but the ohv aren’t too prone I don’t think . It’s not bubbling or making pressure so I’m hoping it’s a flush , clean and new plugs job . egg

strangeangel
Those are an classic example of how the original design of a car is often it's best incarnation. The facelift one that came after that always seemed like change for change's sake, but that has aged pretty damn well. Looks like a good 'un too, well bought. bangernomics
First new car I bought for the former Mrs b at a cost of many thousands. She hammered it for 5 years then omghgf then another 4 years of hammering around the motorway at 90 everywhere then given to her mum who ran it for 15!!! Years without servicing it regular before scrapping it. Awesome little thing. Remember doing a none stop from Manchester to Paris via the tunnel when it was 6 months old. N274vne? spartacus
Great cars, I ran one briefly, bought with a failed head gasket that took two hours to replace. I can't imagine it's possible to lose money on that at £250.
