Peugeot 306 Cabriolet the doctor wins, perodua kelisa for sale

Recommended Posts

It's all a distraction this dodgy bastard stuff - so we don't call him baldygums
No, it's just a reaction to the fact that a few people on here talk about me behind my back and make snide comments.
Like loserone saying that my roffle win would go to someone who really wants it for £1k or David Fowler moaning about me buying a Renault 19 from tickman and putting the alloy wheels that came with it up for sale on retro rides.
Also I'm regularly talked about at the monthly scotoshite meets and described as a dodgy character that just lurks around to buy cheap cars.
I thought it would be fun to live up to that description if that's what everyone thinks anyway.
The funny thing is I get moaned at for making money on cars but it seems to be fine for anyone else to do so.

Not really the place for this discussion, but if you can be arsed to hold out and sell a car for more, great for you.  I'm clearly shit at selling cars :).  If commenting in a private conversation that something you won would be up for sale for more than the roffle made in the near future is "talking about you behind your back", then fair enough I suppose.  I've never met you, have no idea whether you're sound or not, but you are good at turning over cars and occasionally making some money out of it.  Other people clearly have opinions much like they have arseholes.

Fucks sake. It's not Mumsnet.  Taking the piss out of each other is STANDARD EQUIPMENT round here generally.

I'm sure I've taken the piss out of most of you pricks at some point, whether online, to your face, behind your back, in the kitchen to the dog or wherever the fuck.

I've never met a shitter that I didn't like and wish you all well with your car's whatever the fuck you choose to do with them.

At the end (and start) of the day, one lads SNIDE is probably another lads BANTS so if offence it taken it may not have necessarily been intended.

It's just the internet.

I've just been informed that #23 (a work colleague) would no longer be able to take this on, so if that one wins there will be a Vectra-style £1/ticket roffle, gifts only, no duplicate recipients, all proceeds to a cancer charity.

payments are coming in swiftly, 9 payments to go with contact from four of them (and one payment missing in the ether)

But do you really want to win it? I know I don't.

Hey listen, anyone who wins this and doesn't want it, I'll refund your entry fees and take it off your hands.  You never even need to get out of your chair!

Can the winner sign an agreement to never have the aerial up? Thanks.

There's also a red hardtop on eBay, it needs a respray though.

Didn't really want to be selling this without seeing it through fully, but as I've now 3 cars on my own fleet out of 4 needing attention, I feel I must make room and time to get on with those.
Bought originally as a non-runner, I had it towed home, pulled the wiring apart and buzzed the loom, and taped it back up. I have been using it without fault for around 200 miles, save for some water getting in the abs unit plug. (I have treated it with elec. Cleaner and Wd40, it occasionally misbehaves in wet weather still)
It now has a comprehensive service history, it has had a refurbished rear axle, alternator and a new clutch within the last few years, and the cambelt done in 2014 at 73k.
Currently the mileage is 114k and the mot is due June 2020, in my opinion the sills may require attention as they are a bit tatty, for the time being I have flatted them back and covered them in stone chip paint. The body is generally good, save for giffer touch ups all over in the wrong shade of green.
It has remote central locking, both keys and does generally drive really well, HOWEVER, the EGR valve seems to be stuck as when vacuum tested, it holds but does not sound to be moving. This manifests itself as a slight hunting between 1800-2000rpm.
EDIT- EGR NOW REPLACED, NOT MADE ANY DIFFERENCE.
I will give it a minor service before collection, but the price is a firm £650, which reflects the work it has had in the past, but also the fact it needs a little more fettlement.

Hallo chaps. Too much tat lying and I have a funeral to pay for...
Mk2 Mondeo 2.0i Zetec, 44k miles, on ST170 alloys plus comes with a set of original spec 5-spoke alloys on duff tyres. MOT til 27/5/2020, some history and a recent battery.
There are a few marks (pictured), the rear arches aren't too far gone and it has had welding done on the sills.
The front windows open fine but need a little help closing, they come out the runners on the way up. C/L and heated screen work fine, as does the electric drivers seat adjustment. The clutch bites cleanly and the car pulls well through all the gears.
It has been sitting a month or so due to the diesel Proton's arrival and I could really do with the cash (unless someone has a carb-fed Proton saloon kicking about in which case I'll sell my arse instead).
Advertised elsewhere for £525, £400 on here with shiters discocunt applied.
Car is in Paisley, Scotland, four minutes walk from Paisley Canal station.

Just about an hour ago I went to start my car up, had Mrs Dustman with me, to go and pick Miss Dustman up from work. Turned over fine but took a while to fire up.

Steering felt heavy. Thought maybe as it's currently -5 + wind chill it's just cold & the fluid is thick.

Started reversing out my bay then I was greeted with:
      "DING DONG" - ABS fault.
      "DING DONG" - ESP fault
"DING DONG" - headlamp auto levelling not working, contact service.

I shut the car down straight away and we went in Mrs D's Corolla.

Alternator is less than 2 months old, it's a recon unit from Alternator Man in Portsmouth. Hoping the cold isn't killing the battery and it's taking the 'nator out with it (battery passed the drop test last time the no-charge warning came up). Looks like a session with the multimeter after work tomorrow.....
