At the time in 2002 first choice was a tax free Series Land Rover, it was because of the failed head gasket on my Mercedes 300TE 24v and I needed a car for Monday morning but we could not find one in time. So we bought the Range Rover. At the time I could live with a Land Rover just. Now I find them very uncomfortable, which is a shame as I have access to this 90 Defender when ever I want it.
