Yeah, it not being multiplexed was a big part of the appeal :D

Feels tight for it's near 150K.

  • boot rattles.  Boot catch just needs adjusting
  • rev counter 'sticks' a little, but I only really noticed by watching carefully whilst it someone else drove
  • the radio cuts in and our whilst driving.  If it's quiet whilst stationary, it can be fixed by tapping the front.  Dry joint?
  • Under the back seats is damp / sticky / full of tissues.
  • steering and gearshift are light and lacking in feel.  Not terrible though.
  • It's a smoll car with a 2.0 EW10.
  • No paperwork at all.

Very welcoming group of people doggers, evidently it's not the size of your vehicle that matters, must be the taking part.

Lunchtime explore

A colleague with a 2007 Audi A3 quattro and a V8 MG magnette thought it was a 56 plate.

The boot carpet and under the back seats are definitely a bit damp.  Not as bad as the 306 though!

Usually the rattly boot is the boot catch, when we had ours we had to replace the catch twice, as it couldn't be adjusted to stop the rattle, I think they got modified later on.

Even though the 206 got a bad rep and the GTi version especially there not a bad car, quite enjoyed the one we had, was also a v reg, but in firedance orange.
