When I can finally sell the Metro I'll spend whatever I get for that on the Mini. I've been meaning to get on with it for about 4 years now though... It doesn't even need much. brammy777
Blimey 155v6, it was taken at 3:17! Im betting the owners are fairly old, according to the numberplate it was most likely sold in Fleet too! Fleet is good fo spots... that car park in the town centre and Library car park attract all sorts, I missed out on a Silver Montego Estate as well. There is also a Prairie I see every time I go there.
155V6
I guessed the time as I hardly recognised any of the cars in the picture, which meant that most of them belonged to parents dropping off or picking up their kids from School. There was a Nissan dealer in Fleet a few years ago,so the Bluebird could well be a local car.Pity the square-shaped Proton wasn't at home,it would have been in the background of your picture

pogweasel
OMG POLONEZ PRIMA. Â "Prima" trim added weller-style wheels and faux-walnut door-cappings. Â Not sure if that one should also have a lower chin spoiler, or if they were added when the boot flap was extended to the bumper in about 1990... Lord Sterling
As ever, G=great pics Bram. I'm warming to the pov-spec 1.8 Carlton, for some reason I like pov-specs as well as top-spec cars. Civic 125, I remember 'Father Sterling' buying one of these a few years back from an auction in Belguim. At the time, a younger, pre-shite me wondered why the hell he bought it and why he couldnt have bought the mk1 800 Fastback or something a little more modern. 'Father Sterling' was to go on to buy more old Jap rammle after (And still does) Re; Monza, I've always wondered what they are like to drive, first time I saw one when I was little I thought it was a the bigger faster, more posher version of the mk2 Cavalier. CreepingJesus
Some great spots here, bud. I'll have the XJS with the Lister (or Lister-alike) headlights. Verrr nice. I can see the point in people owning cheap old, economical cars in London - but the VW Trekker? A bumper box of e-cookies for that person, and their defiant individuality! Re; Monza, I've always wondered what they are like to drive, first time I saw one when I was little I thought it was a the bigger faster, more posher version of the mk2 Cavalier. They're quite civilised, if you're just pootling about; makes nice noises and feels solidly comfy. They'll eat motorways all day, at 100+; pushing on round the A-roads requires a couple of brave pills. Having said that, they're quite predictable, and easy-going, but they'll never get close to hot-hatch dartiness. Typical big German sports-tourer to be honest.
