Worth a go, but as Heidel says I think it won't crank at all in that instance. 320touring
paulplom
I could make and post you that hose out of 10mm copper if you'd like. Then just connect the section up with 2 small bits of hose and jubilee clips either end if you know what I mean. RobT
Slowly rusting away in a field somewhere. We called it quits in the end. The bugger just wouldn't start, and I kept finding more rust. One to file under 'never mind'. sutty2006
Tetleysmooth
Oh blimey, that's a rotten shame. I love the Senators. Surely worth a go. On one I had, it had starting trouble. It turned out to be the lead from the battery to the starter. I changed that and it fired up first time every time thereafter.
RobT
This one had fuelling problems, amongst other stuff. Shame but I'd definitely want another some day.
sutty2006
I hope it’s not in a field, it needs to be on my driveway where my ST is currently sitting in pieces.

More a yard I should say. A hoarder type bought it off us, so I reckon it's unlikely ever to see the road again. But he seemed a decent sort so you never know. RobT
Sorry, but it was also quite rotten. I didn't think so at first, but my heart sank the more I prodded.

RobT
Sills were more or less fine, just a few bits underneath and on the bulkhead. Far from galloping rot, but it was just becoming a pain in the arse having it sat at my parents immobile.
