Split_Pin
Just home now. Thanks for a great day, the location and scenery is stunning around there. Food was brilliant too. It was great to meet everyone, I think I got around most folk. Hopefully the @loserone 205 will make its way home OK! Cavalier was running warm on the way home, it was touch and go at one point! Looking forward to the next one! sdkrc, davehedgehog31, Lacquer Peel and 3 others

Sounds like all people and things have been decanted into @320touring’s Toledo and the AX. Is that why a few of you had stopped at the garage on the way out of middleton? I thought you were all just fuelin up again? T'was good to get back to the old home turf as it were, I do miss riding on them roads.... loserone, Jimbob McGregor, Split_Pin and 1 other

Cheers @loserone and @Jim Bell for arranging. Good to see multiple folks known and unknown! Also, thanks to @davehedgehog31for the taxi. 320touring
To all the NORTH EAST LADS, Many thanks, always a pleasure, never a chore. Special mentions to @loserone for the organising! @Jim Bell for the knock-off twixes and also for winning the 'least worst w210' award @Jimbob McGregor for identifying the steepest possible hills to take a grumpy Toledo over. Great to see everyone and the general shenanigans! Jim Bell, Tickman, loserone and 5 others 5
spike60
I'd have run the hoover round if I'd expected vistors! loserone
That'll be Karen. (And Jim Bell's twixes) Karen mentioned she hadn't managed to keep track of all the orders, so just in case anyone forget to pay give me a shout and I'll settle up with her when I go to try to get the 205 going again in a bit. Bizzarely it just stopped dead and wouldn't restart for more than five seconds. Which is great* as it's our only working car. Tickman

Tickman
Fantastic day and many thanks to Mike for all the organisation. Great turn out and well worth the effort. I had the pleasure with no * of driving both the best 205 and best AXE show winners thanks to James. Ben the Merc is ace but you and everyone else that had a go know that. A final thanks to my personal chauffeur for the day without him the day could have been a lot less enjoyable. loserone
Cheers for coming along everyone, I feel much better now the 205 has it's old coil back on and is running really smoothly again. Quite pleased with the turnout , only regret now is that I didn't get a chance to try @Jim Bell's Merc or @Lacquer Peel's awesome 850. edit: or get much chance to speak to @Split_Pin who vanished much earlier than I expected! jaypee, Lacquer Peel, sdkrc and 1 other

The 850 is a bit less fast than my T5 but also feels tighter and more planted on the road, and it gets 2.5x the MPGs. On the drive home around the sheep-covered hills of Weardale I had the T5 down to single figures. Jim Bell, Lacquer Peel and sdkrc 2
