RobT
Car of the day for me was the Renault 15, in perfect unrestored condition. 53k on the clock and it had been in storage for over a decade or something. Having seen an L-reg one at Bromley in June, I didn't expect to see another for ages. My latest obsession is awful yanks. This Eldorado was part of the South Cheshire American Car Group, the name having smacks of Judean People's Front about it. North, East and West weren't in attendance. catsinthewelder
The owner of the wonderful mk1 Escort Deluxe was a bit of a 405 fan as he nattered to me about mine too. He claims to be heading ASwards and you'll see why when he tells you what his daily drive is beko1987, RobT and Inspector Morose

I knew this would be a good show when I saw this Eldorado on my way in. Just look at this beautifully luxurious* blue interior including the mandatory giffer steering wheel cover. The floor mats I've only noticed now are a nice touch, too... And this radio... I need to stop looking at this photo...? Minimad5
Yup was a good Pre-Birthday day out. Sadly I'm a socially awkward mong & forget peoples names / faces and usernames etc, so didn't get to annoy you all. Thanks to all involved who made the day happen. Hopefully next year I'll be in something 'shiter', than the Gaffa Tape wagon. Cavcraft

chaseracer
Same here. I've always preferred the clean look of the 15 to the fussier 17.
rml2345
Brilliant day out as always chaps, sorry we ducked out a bit early and I didn't manage to say hello to many folk. It was Finace_RML's first time so we went wandering too. The announcer was as crap as ever but gatecrashing the 90s section at least got us a plaque and a disparaging look from one of the judges. Same time next year? beko1987

Same time next year? Junior Sporty made me fo into the ri g with the convertibles and sports car. The MX5 was acknowledged, but I could taste the resentment in his voice. NorthernMonkey
I was very tempted to take the Explorer into the ring with the Americans but it would likely be a step too far... Iamgroot and chaseracer

Nah. More than worth it to annoy that goatee bearded fucknugget. Anyway, your Explorer looks decent. NorthernMonkey

You definitely should have, I didn't know I could have taken the 405 in until sometime mentioned the 90's section or I would have done. loserone and NorthernMonkey

Cavcraft
Next year we're 100% doing our own awards, as soon as Rent-a-Gob goes for dinner. beko1987, sporty-shite and chaseracer

brownnova
Today I’m off to the North Wales version of Chumley, the same organisers at a place called Bodrhyddan Hall. Was supposed to be in the MX5 but that’s not playing ball so will be 2CV-ing it. Wonder if Les the commentator will be there?
