I'm not going to question you guy's knowledge, because it's far from me to say so, but the Wikipedia (sorry - I'm aware of the dubious nature of this site) article disagrees. It suggests that the Sebring was the Successor to the 3500. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maserati_3500_GT Or is this one of those things where it was called a Sebring anyway, so Maserati decided to use the name anyway?
