I know it has Ford badges on, but I refuse to believe it is a Ford, as I don't do Fords!

Feel free to joke about how long I'll keep it or when I'll paint the wheels etc :)

Actually very impressed so far, it's much bigger than I even expected. (That's what shes said too ;) )

I was hunting one of these a while back and found that every one within my budget was totally clapped out. I'd love a go in a fairly smart one.
Yeah this one is a shit heap*... Barely runs... Smokes like a docker etc.

I mean I would buy it only out of sympathy really...obvs

OK. Less than 48 hours in and the knocking drop link(s) are annoying me.

Anyone know if they are easy enough to do?

The passenger side one was done in the week but I noticed afterwards the drivers side started to rattle a bit....I was going to change it too but it was bank holiday and I couldn’t get one...

The links are less than a tenner and are fifteen minutes to change

Phew. Just seen them on ebay 12 quid for a pair. That puts my mind at rest - I'd hear that Fords are notorious for eating suspension components.

I'm no mechanic, but I can handle that. I even have a ball joint splitter.

Oddly though, it sounds like the sound is coming from the passenger side. ?

Besides that minor thing, it's a great car. I'm treating it to a valet today, and I'll be going round it with some t-cut when I get a chance.

I do feel like I got the better end of the deal....

You shouldn't need a ball joint splitter! It's just bolt off bolt on.

Is he allowed to drink at that age??

Can you send me some pictures of the seats please? Just wanted to know if they're the same as mine, so I can buy more numbers for it for Wednesday's draw!
