BD3
Check out these videos of Dublin traffic in 1985. Plenty of Jap shite on display here. Also its funny to see how many drivers block up the yellow box junctions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQOlJItjeZQhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDWVp3A5b2g

BD3
Tis a two tone beige Carina II That was quite a popular colour for the Carina here.
Wolseley1660man
It's a bit blurry, but there's one or two orange P&T vans in the scene as well, I think. A neighbour has a beige Carina II hatchback.

bigstraight6
Great stuff BD3, are those smokey old buses Gardner 6LX powered? Like the Ergomatic cabbed recovery lorry (Leyland Beaver I reckon)
BD3
The beige liveried buses are Leyland Atlantean PDR and AN68. These had Leyland 680 engines but due to unreliability most of them were fitted with DAF engines in the early/mid eighties. The "modern" looking buses in the green livery are Bombardier KDs which had V6 Detroit Diesel engines known for their high fuel consumption and noise! (I think in one of the videos a KD blasts by and you can really hear the noise)
