1duck
the thing about italy is that they all think their old shite is worth something, that's before you even couple the extortionate transfer fees. They think their 25 year old punto is worth 5 grand.

That is 1 fine motor vehicle. Right on both counts.
Sir Chocolate Teapot
Also last weekend found a car show, nothing shite here but I think worth showing. Hope you enjoy. 1954 fiat siata 1100. Never seen one, looks incredible looks fast but powered by fiat 1100cc. Stood alone looks normal, next to other cars you see how small it is, like 4/5 scale. Just look at those flush door handles. 1938 lancia aprilia Owner 90 years old and still rocking. Based on fiat 500. This is tiny, my bike for scale, based on fiat 500. Made by fiat siata. Could spend all day looking at this, note 3 rows of seats. Makes me wish I paid more attention at school woodwork classes. Ian_Fearn
Sir Chocolate Teapot, what is life like in Italy these days? Politics, finance, housing, jobs etc? I’ve visited for the last 2 years, for the big Panda doo in Pandino near Milan. Personally, I loved it, the people, the food, the buzz. I spent a bit more time there earlier this year after the event heading east and over into Slovenia and passed through some stunning towns. The driving was FAST, I.e. I was the slowest thing on the road and definitely the slowest Panda in Italy ☺️ sdkrc

Sir Chocolate Teapot
Spotted by seaside in liguria, not far from genova. 1974 diesel, must have been some sort of endurance test to drive that this far. Brush painted green for bonus points. I like it. Ian_Fearn
Macscrooge
Nearly fell off my chair when that Renault 16 hove into view. Not sure I’ve ever seen one with non-frilly panels. Well not in the last 40 years.
Sir Chocolate Teapot
I bet this would start with a bit of tinkering. Shame as apart from front windscreen and surround it looks pretty sound. What a camper van that would make. busmansholiday

Albeit, it's likely to be a heart attack inducing price.
