carlo
Been scanning loads of old slides from my parents, dad used to go to France regularly in the 50s. 60s and 70s. This blue convertible with just its back visible is intriguing me, is it a DB? Any ideas? Thousands of these type of pics, might well upload a few soon HMC and JeeExEll 1

carlo
Not a Caravelle or Floride, they don't have three separate lamps at the back.

You were indeed ! The only way to tell if a LeMans is a DB or a Rene Bonnet is to check the engine (Panhard in the former, Renault in the latter). HMC
What with idiosyncratic designs and a fiercely loyal, generally patriotic customer base, going abroad really was a whole other country on the roads; it could only be France. Wonderful slide. Looking forward to the scans!
