I’ll have a random for my old Cav owning times sake.

It’s a long time since I felt the tactile knurled wheel that controls a whole four fan speeds.

Been a long time since i had to replace one of the fuckers as well! If theres a ticket left by friday im having it!

Yes, I've changed that one and it's no picnic is it! Pretty sure I've brought another switch complete with the whole assembly used as a spare somewhere too. The fan resistor is usually the more common fail thankfully as it's easier to change.

A cracking looking cavalier. If I didn’t already have one and I wasn't overstocked with cars here I think I would. Whoever wins it will get a good car.

Thank's, if I could afford to keep two cars I honestly wouldn't sell it myself. Hopefully it goes to a good home on AS and maybe I can even buy it back at some point?

Which part of the west kids are you residing too? Cheers

Hi bub will add your roffle numbers along with Ohdearme and Matty later.

I'm in Aldridge, closer to the Lichfield A5 side of it mate.  Or could possible see it etc at my Dads house in Measham, DE12 if that easier? I've renewed the insurance on Monday for now too as our Scudo van has suffered a fail. So I'm still using the Cav at the minute till it hopefully sorted.

I'll take a look at your PM shortly too, Cheers.

Im living on me nerves here. Is it sold, is the raffle still on? People need to know!!

Sorry people been distracted by my Van having a ftp!

The Roffle / Sale is still active, I've just not pushed it as;

( 1) I've insured the Cav again for now to potter around in.

(2) Van is broken as above so this is my only wheels at the moment.

(3) I still love this car and I questioning my sanity in selling it!

It clicked over to 205,000 yesterday too. So treated it to a wash and gave it a quick once over with some wax and blacked up the plastic trim.

Have you still got this @Burnside? Might have someone buying my P100 this week, if they do, I'll definitely be interested in your cavalier...

Hi lamgroot, yes I still have the Cavalier available but hadn't pushed it's sale with the Van playing up etc as above. But I've just brought another car, so I had been thinking of bumping this thread back up so good timing !

Just drop me a message or pm when your ready.

Cheers.

Sorry to say the "mate of a mate" never turned up and has disappeared off the radar, so I haven't sold my pickup.

No problem lamgroot, and appreciate the quick reply back.

I'm sure your have no trouble selling it, as finding a decent 2wd pickup of any kind is no easy task. Which my Dad found out a few years back when he tried to buy one. Ended up with a Ford Connect Van instead.

Numbers 52 and 53 please.

The Cavalier still For Sale at £425. So if everyone still up for restarting a Roffle then it's on!

Also if the previous people who have asked for a Roffle number still want there's just message up on here.

I'll get on the laptop tonight and draw up the list. Cheers all.

I genuinely cannot understand why this hasn’t sold. It’s a working tidy car with a nearly full test for the price of a weekend in a ghastly caravan in Skegness.

Thank's I guess me not pushing it with the Van fiasco hasn't helped in fairness, but part of me glad though as I still enjoy having it around.

It even came to the rescue (again) after my Brothers Ford Focus broke down last weekend. Towing him home after a thankfully minor ftp as it turned out.

A little later than planned tonight, but I've added a updated roffle list below. Which for now includes everyone who previously asked for a roffle ticket.

If anyone want's to drop out, I'll amend the list so people can see if any numbers become available again as we go.

Though the Cavalier is still available for a straight Sale at £425.

I'll refit the original grill and amber side indicators prior to collection too.

Apologies, I'd forgotten about this and circumstances have changed somewhat.

Not got any spare time for additional cars, so going to have to withdraw from roffle.

Apologies again

Thank's for letting us know and no need to apologize. Hope your ok though.

Have had some interest by a AS member last week, but for the meantime the Roffle will still contuine unless a outright Sale is agreed before it's sold out.

An to get the Roffle going again, Tickets are now only £7.50.

Right due to a mixture of life being a pita and the lack of money and space. I really need to get a car shifted before September ideally.
So although this wasn't in the original plan, what better than me offering two Cars For Sale / Roffles instead !
      Plus Points,
2006 Met Black Fiat Stilo 1.6 petrol Active SW. 4 Owners , 48,912 only with Mot till next April, Starts, Run's + Drives fine and engine seam's to have plenty of get up and go. Clutch is ok too. Brakes seam good inc handbrake. Blowers work ok. Front Leccy Windows + Mirrors. PAS inc City Button, Central Locking, CD player.  Looks to have had a full new Exhaust and Windscreen replacement recently. Tyres all have plenty of tread and spare wheel and tool kit is present. No fault codes on Dash. V5 arrived today in my name.
      Negative Points,
Interior isn't great. Worst is being the headlining and rear boot carpet, but is 99% complete. Bodywork has some interesting dents see pics! Also has poor previous repairs to nearside doors and is declared on logbook as being a previous salvaged vehicle.  Nearside front door doesn't lock on the outside but locks fine inside. Tailgate rattles slightly [ needs adjustment ] No service history so Cambelt Roulette at present, but Fiat reckon next change assuming it's had one would be 72K. Clonking / Rattle underneath suspect anti-roll bar joint as advised on last Mot.
Despite it's appearances though this car has potential. I feel that with a bit of time invested and a few trips to a scrappy as I'd planned to do, would improve it no end. But otherwise it would make a ideal cheap workhorse / dog carrier etc as is, that would also last you till next April and beyond without too much bother.
Car is untaxed but will Sorn if not Sold shortly and no Insurance.
Just want back what it owe's me so far. AS price is £350 firm or £6 a Roffle Ticket.
If the Cavalier sell's before the Stilo, then I may keep this car as originally intended but we see how things go.  Worst case I'll sell both and have to go Car shopping again!
Car located Midlands near Jct 10 M42 at present.

I bought this as a stopgap, its purpose has been filled, and now I need something more economical.
Its a 2000 Mazda 323F, with a 1.8 petrol engine and auto box (4 speed with lock out in top). Its in decent enough condition, looks tidy, starts, runs and drives with no major issues, decent amount of poke when needed. MoT is till November.  Interior is very tidy and shows little wear. Leccy windows, mirrors, sunroof which all work, AC which does not. The downsides are there are 3 small chips in the windscreen, all less than 10mm. And it could do with a tyre changing on the front as its cracked with age.

More photos when its stops raining. Oh, and economy-wise it averages around 33mpg with mixed driving, more on a long run.
Looking for £300 for a sale, or prepared to roffle at £5 if theres enough interest, could do with shifting it relatively quickly though. I'm also up for swaps, preferably for something small, petrol and manual. Small Peugeots are a preference.
Oh, and its in Lincoln. Sorry.

Something amazing has come up, so this being the sensible economical family car I'm moving it on.  If it doesn't go quick I'll more the 205 on instead once it's tested, which would make much more sense as I like it a lot.
      Good:

      Running perfectly.
Pretty economical; guessing very high thirties or low 40s.
      Quiet
      Smooth
      Peugeot ride quality
      Big boot.
      Soft comfortable seats
      Bad:
Needs a new side repeater lens (£15 on eBay)
Could do with new tyres on the front as they're worn Chinese ditchfinders
Bottoms of the doors are scruffy.
Passenger window needs help to go back up.
Located in Durham, delivery available at cost.

      Go on, relieve my boredom...
      MOT November.
      Brakes now fixed.
Exhaust in a bit of a mess, but not actually loud.
      83,000 miles.
      Located in Essex, near Southend-on-Sea.

Aye, it's this fucking thing again.
      111k Miles
      MOT August 23rd
      Drives well, very very well
      Never let me down
Would genuinely drive it anywhere [/cliche]
Previously owned and cared for by many shiters
Needs a backbox fitted and a speed sensor - INCLUDED with the car, I'm not spending anymore money getting them fitted, picking up new* car on Saturday.
Previous info, pretty much everything you need to know HERE
Eight pounds and fifty pence for a single ticket, two for fifteen pounds. Located in Glass-Coh, Scotland. It can be collected from a secure car park a 5 minute walk away from Glasgow Airport for EASE if required. 2 minutes away from the M8 heading back south.
