Copart Seat Ibiza

Recommended Posts

I've been tracking this after it was skilfully spotted by another member from his office window, as I suspected it's turned up at copart in Newbury with just a scab on the wing and a rear light lens cracked. I consider this to be weapons grade shite and needed to make sure the right people see it !

I won't be bidding but it's no reserve and I have a copart account if that helps anyone

Has noone bought this yet?

Two randoms please.

Jesus that's the ultimate roffle addition right there! You have no idea if it'll be 0.3p or £75 a ticket but you want in,

calm down calm down

you think it might make 300 quid?

might make 200 - maybe

Having never used Copart before is it as simple as pay them 50 quid and then be allowed to bid online for any auctions they are involved with?  I know I could have phoned their customer service team and ask but I wanted to find out what Copart is like to use in the real world.

Anyone able to make a plan for this then?

There's probably a way to put our heads together and make a collective plan, but think the best thing is to keep the thread ticking over so anyone who might want to save it notices. Plenty of people prepared to help a buyer, and I can't see it making a large sum as nobody's bid yet and the parts or export opportunies for a few 28 year old Seat aren't numerous

I'd love to help, and could possibly clean and polish it with some notice as it's not a million miles away, but could never afford to outright buy it.

We could crowdfund it, all do bits of work as needed then either one big roffle for forum funds or similar and it goes to someone who does want it as a daily , or get it to ruffgeezer car sales with a white background and again, a decent cause or forum funds for a few months and play the old car ebay game.
