Tetleysmooth
It's an excellent driver Col, but lots of little niggly things to sort out.Main things are, rear wash/wipe. Courtesy lights. Little bit of front bumper missing, now bought from PFS parts, yet to fit.I got the complete V5 with the car, so I contacted the previous owner. He was good enough to reply. He told me the rear wash/wipe never worked, but the battery never ever went flat, so maybe the lad I bought it from had me over with the battery. It's got a brand new Hankook on it now. Most of the tailgate trim fittings are toast, but repair kits are available. Needs an engine top mount, but TADTS.Enough to keep me occupied for a while !!Still love it though.Put plenty of pics up of the 75 chap.

Rocket88
Right it's home, no Pez station pictures, because it's half full of the devil's brew. Before I get to a few issues..have some pics Drives pretty well, clutch feels a little heavy, and the front end, although bereft of rattles, clonks or boings, also feels a bit stiff. Biggest issue is in last pic. Remote doesn't work, and the door won't lock manually.................any suggestions? mrbenn, Split_Pin, Brodders and 4 others

BavarianRetro
Remotes are a bastard on these. Open up the case, take the board out and inspect it. Stick a new CR2016 battery in and see if it works.

Split_Pin
Clutch was heavy on both my 75s, one was on it's way out and the other was completely fine. As long as there are no funny noises and the pedal otherwise behaves normally then file under ignore. Rocket88

gadgetgricey
I may have been lucky, as just bought the first generic blank key fob I saw on ebay.Transfer over was really easy and key has worked ever since. Why wont key lock manually? Does key fit in door lock?Does central locking work via button by hand brake? Brodders
Rocket88
Fob is missing the activating buttons, and the key spins in the lock...will try the activating button on the console tomorrow...............key does fit the lock, but just spins........ Brodders
Much like Gadgetgricey I used the first generic keyfob to replace the two on my 75, which were in this state. It was just a case of taking the electrical bits from the old key and transferring them across to the new set (and being absolutely sure the small cuboid transponder didn't go missing) The result was this, both keys are still operating perfectly today. The spinning round in the barrel issue is rather odd though. Is it possible someone had tampered with the lock when trying to get in illicitly, causing some damage in the process? Rocket88
After poking round the internet, this may be due to a doohickey becoming detached from the internal lock mechanism............central locking does work off the centre console button
