eddyramrod
How much do you want to spend, and what are you expecting to do with it once you have it home? If you fancy a daytrip to the Lake District, there's a lovely 1973 Cadillac right here.... Semi-C
I’ve yet to fashion an advert for it but my 1972 Ford Cortina GXL is soon for sale. It’ll be mot’d before it goes, £6500 will be it’s price elsewhere but shiters price will be £6000. That is seriously nice and a bargain at that price if it’s half as good as it looks. Semi-C

Rusty_Rocket
Every time I see someone asking for a pre-78 car, I anyways assume they simply want something as cheap as possible that doesn't need an MoT or indeed keeping roadworthy.Sorry if you're a genuine 'few-zee-ast, but all I can think of is bald tyres/ worn out brakes/ holes in the sills and SOD MOT. Squire_Dawson
Whaaaat?! Aye, I keep having second thoughts. I made an attempt to sell it on car and classic, someone is coming to view it. Since the Humber arrived its been made redundant pretty much, though going back to using it daily it is still a firm favourite.

Member of our family had an identical one, bought in 1973 with 6k on the clock, caramac coloured vinyl interior, TFG 222K. Why do I remember the reg of a car which was scrapped 30 years ago? I can't even remember my own phone number. "Pre 1978 classic car, what's on offer" - what's the budget, type of car wanted, expected use, running costs, area, likes / dislikes, Honda Civic, Jag XJS, Ford Prefect, Landcrab, Thunderbird, etc? Thousands and thousands of pre 78 cars for sale.At the moment it's a bit like 'recommend me a meal for my tea'. eddyramrod
