Seddon Atkinson | eBay

'Beware!! back to front gear selection on the Sed Atki’s, this means the standard H gear selection arrangement is the reverse. If you’ve only ever driven modern synchromesh or auto boxes, don’t bother bidding, it will break your heart…. '

As someone who once spent what felt like 17 years trying to change gear in one these in P&O Roadtanks yard,  I can only agree.

According to my wife’s late grandfather who had a fleet of these many years ago, if you over tensioned the ratchet hand brake it would go off with the sound of shotgun when released which apparently used to scare car drivers at the traffic lights

I've seen a few like that, the AI engine gets properly confused if you list something in the wrong category.

Forgive me Autoshite, for I have sinned. One of the Ten Commandments is: "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's tailgate".

I looked upon the not-rusty tailgate and for a fleeting moment imagined what it must be like to have a tailgate made out of steel, instead of rust and filler.

£3000 Winchester (because 18k on the clock) and FREE ruined roof.

And an SR too. Not Tuscan Plum though, and would the VVTi engine be capable of getting to 282k and counting as per Miss SL's SR?

Edit: Just seen it's done 180k+, and the interior looks decent for that.

Bit of an odd one but might be of interest to someone. Box of new bearings and calipers with no clues as to what it fits. "Offers" in Cov. I wonder what the story is there?

I find stuff like this odd - surely some of them have parts numbers or other clues engraved or whatever to pop in google?
