The Ital was manufactured in 1981 but believed used on an air base for 10 years & registered for road use in 1991. It was initially registered to Freight Rover as a company vehicle and was later acquired by a Mr J Flannagan who then moved to Southern Ireland taking the car with him where it remained until a couple of years ago when it was purchased by a gentleman in Scotland who re imported it but didn't re-register it although he did work on it including fitting new rear arches. I purchased the car last year and registered it back to the UK on it's original plate. The MOT expires in September. Despite the high mileage the engine runs very well and the interior is excellent. The paintwork is presentable except for the bonnet and a wing and the rear bumper has a crack in it. There are a few blemishes and a couple of small blisters. Ideally it would benefit from a respray. I will supply a new bonnet, wing and second hand bumper. The car is fitted with later alloy wheels and new tyres but I have an set of original VP alloys and the purchaser can choose which they have."
