Cool, nice to see you here mate. I just dabble here really but I very much identify with the mindset!

Don't you have an Avantime Lurking somewhere? yes funny how these things happen, but I guess Tat lovers find each other, I try to fly the flag for all things Tat on DriveTribe, but they don't really get it 🙄

Morris Ital Pickup (Extremely Rare)

"Fitted with a 1700cc O - Series engine. It is in generally good condition for the year, the interior is complete apart from the rubber floor mats. Everything seems to work as it should but the wiper stalk is a replacement & not yet fitted to the column. It's also fitted with a very rare sun visor (as seen in photos). The Ital was manufactured in 1981 but believed used on an air base for 10 years & registered for road use in 1991. I have never looked into this but some evidence of its past is still visible on the Pickup, markings on the underside of the bonnet & the top of the dash can still be seen. it was last taxed + M.o.T'd in 2011"

Current bid: £720

"As far as I'm aware this is the only VP estate left anywhere so a very worthwhile investment.

It was initially registered to Freight Rover as a company vehicle and was later acquired by a Mr J Flannagan who then moved to Southern Ireland taking the car with him where it remained until a couple of years ago when it was purchased by a gentleman in Scotland who re imported it but didn't re-register it although he did work on it including fitting new rear arches.

I purchased the car last year and registered it back to the UK  on it's original plate. The MOT expires in September. Despite the high mileage the engine runs very well and the interior is excellent. The paintwork is presentable except for the bonnet and a wing and the rear bumper has a crack in it. There are a few blemishes and a couple of small blisters. Ideally it would benefit from a respray. I will supply a new bonnet, wing and second hand bumper.

The car is fitted with later alloy wheels and new tyres but I have an set of original VP alloys and the purchaser can choose which they have."

Buy It Now £2,800 or starting bid £1,600

It seems Allegros are starting to fetch prices of around 5 grand, for pretty solid/ almost concourse ones that being said:
