I have driven several Mondeo’s, mk1’s, 2’s, 3’s and 4, I have driven mostly mk5 and 4 Cortina’s and whilst Mondeo’s are ok I would much prefer a Cortina. I have not driven a 1 series BMW but on the fact they are RWD I would expect them to drive better than the average modern car.

I can't speak from experience, but looking at the amount of absolutely fucked (through inherent faults and champagne dreams/lemonade money owners) I honestly think there must be more knackered ones than good ones left. Nope, compared to the equivalent Toyota it's reasonable, a little rarer and cooler for it too, if you like that kind of thing, which I do. Those wheels are smashing!
Crispian_J_Hotson 3786
With more leaks than a greengrocer, this non MOT'd, cosmetically improved* Manual baby V6 in the best colour, with full service history M8 could be a shitters back door into prestige motoring at nearly 700 nicka. (That's quite a lot for this questionably immobile failure actually). They've managed to kill it in the 7 months they've had it but, it may well have had expensive rear suspension work already done. No frontal pics though. "You will need to pay for car online as I am lady" She is lady. "parts come to £870 but hands to £2700 plus vat, so great to repair..." Speaking of the Irish market, not seen an AE86 or a Galanza over in the UK in aaaaages. Semi frequent sighting in Ireland especially during rally season. My eldest cousin had an early boxy turbo Legacy, pre Impreza, late 80s. The thing went like stink, easily 200bhp+. Sold it for a B Spec Legacy which also went like stink. I was only 18 at the time and (probably thankfully) could only insure a Starlet at the time.
