They bring some really interesting stuff over; it’s somewhere I’d love to just have a look around.

Though I do wonder who the target market is for some of the stuff they bring over. Surely there isn’t anyone wanting to spend >£5000 on a Vectra or Rover 400...

Ref. that UR Quattro, it'll go much much more than it's current bid of around £6,000, or whatever it's at. You're basically buying a set of VIN plates and a log book.

maybe a discount on containers makes it cheap to bring them in , start high you can always come down in price if you've bought it for the right money

That is extremely cheap. I have loosely followed the market for these for years - that's the first one to come up for sale in a very long time, and the first for years not being sold by a flipper/dreamer.

Sensibly auctioned 240 with a whitewall tyre.

Is that white disc a manual choke or the bonnet catch?

The seller's ad seems pretty fair, let's press the 'other items for sale' button...

Just having a nose through their stock

I think it's safe to say you're unlikely to see another one of these on the road

I wonder if he was scratching his nose during the auction

I've won what 2015178711_Screenshot_20201230-203434_SamsungInternet.thumb.jpg.4f9d93a0e20b3da1dac9e6dca763f1da.jpg303552620_Screenshot_20201230-203507_SamsungInternet.thumb.jpg.c99135887b9817dad9fd848b61916131.jpg

Thats insane, I turned down my best mates early white 10v UR for £750 as it had a noisy engine, it was 20 years ago mind, I think he got £600 for it in the end crazy money for them these days.

Blimey...  This is mullered.

However it does feature Carol Vorderman laying waste to Quentin Wilson on the boot lid!

If there was a tag available for 'Tried too hard' this would fit the bill. Of the £899 asking price, £20 of that must have been in polish, £18.99 in ECP's finest* hateful wheel trims and at least £750 in 'Back-to-Black' plastic cleaning aerosols.
