It's near Gatwick, so you could fly there on the way back from holiday in Australia and take twice the actual flight time to drive it back home to Crawley

'Spoilt 4 choice' between an Iveco and an LT35 recovery truck is like being spoilt for choice between sticking your kn0b in an industrial cheese grater, or spending fifteen minutes with that 'Rylan' without kicking him square in the bollocks.

These are so dowdy looking and universally unloved. The gearbox judder probably means it is fucked, but the 25k on the clock, 10 months MOT and black plastic bumpers pique some interest.

If the white vinyl roof or quality wood* trim didn't tickle your fancy, check out the LED DIGITAL DASH! (incidentally in the same shade of blue as most Colgate toothpaste).

That one is chassis number 315.  Not sure it'll ever be worth megabucks but look at 1959 (proper) Minis now.

All you'll have to do is wait 50 years.

Is there a way to swap the gearbox for a 6 speed getrag one out of the S ?

I have a 52 plate cooper S watch listed. Not sure why I didn't bid to be honest

Yes, not a difficult swap but you'll need driveshafts, linkage etc etc.  A donor car would be ideal ;)

Or sniff out a knack'd Mini One D.

Is it a sin to have always admired Nissan Maximas? Not sure what I like best the beigeness of the comfy velour, or the vertical depreciation curve.

£789, ignore the screen sticker! :-P
