I used to have one of these and I was hurtling down the A7 from Edinburgh at night and hit a big pot hole mid corner, which knocked out the bolts/lollypop sticks I'd wedged into the popup head lamps to stop them collapsing and was plunged into total darkness. I narrowly avoided death then drove the remaining way with the hazard warning lights on. I can see, I can't see. I can see, I can't see all the way home.
