I lobbed it on the bullshit thread but it probably needs to be here along with the HMRC investigation for serious tax evasion fraud thread etc etc

what a absolute minta

1958 LAND ROVER SERIES 2

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1958-LAND-ROVER-SERIES-2-200-TDI-GALVANISED-CHASSIS-TAX-amp-MOT-EXEMPT-/192118064762?

Verdict - you have got to be fucking joking me!

Seriously though cunts like this are doing the classic land rover world enormous damage. I might just bid this fucker up to 500k and then back out because not one bit of it was around in 1958

It will end up being bid to mid teens to be rung back into a defender 90

what an absolute fucking joke

Actually more offended by how it looks than him ringing it. I bet that bloke who was pictured shagging a Range Rover exhaust has a photo of this LandRover in his wallet so he doesn't come to quickly.

This is in a indi dealer that my mate works for.

Apparently they're worse to drive and infinitely more fragile than a normal 320i.

I want one.

I love the shonky look of this.  My dad had two brown Hunters in the mid 70s, but not sporty ones. His were only a few years old at the time, but were absolutely dire - far worse than any BL tat of their day.  The rule at my school was that you got a detention if you were late three times in one term, but my dad negotiated a "crap car extension", so that we could be late five times before we got Der Kooler.  My dad worked at Rootes-Chrysler for a short while in his first white collar job, after leaving the shop floor at Lucas, before going to work for BL, and he wasn't very complimentary about the quality control at Rootes.
