There have been a few of these on recently, and they still seem to be getting cheaper.

What more could anybody need?

Gee I don't know, I mean I like 405s but I was really hoping for a saloon in white, maybe with a little bodywork to be done on the boot-lid?

An early 110 Defender, sadly with only a 4 speed gearbox. On the bright side, the (usually fucked by now) V8 has been swapped for a 3.5 turbo diesel from a Mazda truck. I think they make about 130bhp which is quite healthy, but the torque is mammoth.

This one has a knackered clutch, goodness knows what parts it needs for that.

^ that 405 sold at errol auction last week for some HUGE amount. Sure it was £600 or similar. i wasnt there butwatched it on line, lots of laquer issues iirc from auction description.

Paying strong money for a car and selling it on immediately isn't a good sign.

I would like to come crashing through the rear aperture of that 33, I must say. A couple of years ago I almost bought one off some alfa 'lover' who had one and wanted it to go to a good home and be restored blah blah blah, although he had helpfully flogged the engine out of it to raise a few quid like a twat. I have a feeling this is the same one, though it was on the south coast back then.

How about a miserable bus ina miserable town? Take away those modern vehicles in the picture and that could be a snap from 30 odd years ago!

'It has been suggested that this Bedford is a 1960s vehicle but we can only trace it to the first UK registration 1969.'
