Many years ago Mrs N had a black mk1 GTE reg A69 OKE which I found more amusing than she did. Id taken it as p/ex on a 2.8 Capri,I had my suspicions about its legitimacy( this was the 90's , most hot hatches had been rung at least once) which were confirmed after some months when after selling it to my brother we discovered the floor number was different to the log book and vin plate. It was pretty close, probably even built on the same day,but I don't think that counts !

My brother promptly ignored it and hammered it around for 2 years, then sold it to his neighbour another couple of years passed and it failed its MOT on rusty inner sill and floor. One Saturday the neighbour is grinding and hammering in preparation for welding. 'At least that dodgy floor number will dissapear' thinks my brother.

That's when he realises the neighbour is carefully cutting out the floor number to stitch into the new floor section...

When unscened and fitted with an appropriately agricultural diesel, I do like the look of these.

If the winning bidder mends it and drives it as-is, they deserve a prize.

This is lovely and the advert is clear, honest and descriptive.  That's a big 10/10.

I was delighted to spot a slightly scruffy red W123 estate groaning under the weight of a young family, roof box and bike rack and being driven in a spirited manner one morning.  As an all-purpose wagon I can't think of much better, these will be on the radar next year if prices aren't insane.
