There's some superb giffer paint work on that granada. You just don't see that so much anymore.

This is probably utterly fcuked, but at this price it's worth buying just as a driveway ornament.

I'm not whats happened here but judging by the bucket seats I guess he wasn't popping to the shops for some Wethers originals.

I bet the owner of this had some choice words to say afterwards.

One of these would be my favourite car of all time, It looks like it's been hid up the arse and then caught on fire.

The owner of this did well to get a £1995 pay out on it, look at the rear seats.

That TVR can't be that hard a fix. I'm surprised it's up to 3300 already though

If that had been the Earls Court car in 1967 I would have expected it to be F plated.   And do they think we believe a vet managed to lift a 165lb carcass onto that roofrack?  Nah, its deffo pineappled.....

ideal cosworth or other conversion

Yeah make brilliant Cosworth conversions these estate shells.

used to restore classic cars for a living so always cut away all rusty metal before welding in fresh stuff, unfortunatly I used underbody schultz instead of under sealer & after i painted the sill white the shultz was still soft underneath & took forever to harden so has been subsequently scuffed with people & myself getting in & out

Sounds like you are a shit hot restorer pal, will you have a look at my 250 GTO? Just needs the sills doing for the MOT

How many times has this been round the bay? I recall he wanted about 6 grand for it to start with. Now its on a £1600 opening bid which still seems very optimistic to me!!!! It looks like £800 worth to me at best. I notice its still allegedly worth up to £10k when done though, so the 'restored' value has not been affected by the 'unrestored' value dropping by 75%. Impressive

I will pay £25 in cash to anyone who goes round to view this with a mate, you have to open both doors and stand on the sills simultaneously. I will pay a bonus £10 if it can be filmed with the owner's expression in view.

I never fail to be amazed by these. Not just by how much folk pay for them (this one's ten grand) but more by how they ever got off the drawing board, taking into account how utterly fucking ridiculous they look. I seriously would rather drive a Mitsubishi L200 ANIMAL with chrome bull bars, than one of these.
