£20k for this M reg defender.

This wins the worst wheels ever award for a 4x4 made in solihull in the mid 90's.

Or you could buy this brand new with a warranty for £23,00. If you're VAT registered,as a van it would owe you less than the 20 year old Christmas tree.

You wouldn't have to worry about where all the newer bits had come from either.

Is that the abortion that had an xr2 engine fitted badly that had been for sale over here for quite some time ? I suspect the pictures are from before it left if so/

That rancho has a power bulge like an up turned washing bowl you just can't see it clearly in the picture.

Ah.  Good spot.  Yuck.

Yes, it's the same Rancho that was up for sale ages ago.  It must have been 4 years ago at least?

I spoke to someone who went to see it and was a bit of a Matra nut, he said that it was in good condition but taken to a scrapyard where someone tore out the standard engine and fitted an XR2 engine plus interior as that was apparently easier than getting the original one going.  Sometimes there just aren't enough rolleyes smilies in the world.

Since I bought the car about two years and 15,000 miles ago I’ve spent about £2300
