If you're REALLY quick you could register this in the UK, just in time to see it catch fire as the damp spaghetti wiring finally succumbed to Iveco-ness.

Having done a few thousand miles in one of absolute and utter bags of toss, I'm happy to confirm it wouldn't do 60mph if you towed it at 300mph down a big fucking hill.

'Choose life. Choose the wrong job. Choose the wrong career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big yellow Iveco 75E14, Choose washing it, knowing the bodywork is falling apart as you do. Choose wondering if it's made out of bits of Chinese cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin can openers. Choose poor health, low wages and a dickhead of a boss who made you drive it. Choose sitting at the side of the road waiting for recovery. Choose a starter motor that doesn't. Choose your friends as you won't see much of them. Choose black work wear and matching gearbox oil slicks. Choose a drivers seat made out of concrete covered in a range of fucking wafer thin fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering why the fuck you are working for S*f*ty Kl**n. Choose sitting on that drivers seat watching mind-numbing spirit-crushing warning lights, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth as you sit in a layby again. Choose the bodywork rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last few quid in fuel in a miserable cab, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up company you have chosen to work forf. Choose your future. Choose life . . . But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the logic? Who needs logic when you have an Iveco'

Has there been anything bigger since? Isn't 16L currently the biggest offered by Scania/Merc/Volvo/MAN?

Saying that it wasn't long ago since Neoplan were using the 21L Mercedes V12...

Is it possible to 'over-inflate' hydrosag suspension? This thing looks like it's about to topple over. Maybe I'm just too accustomed to seeing Metros dragging their saggy selves around.

I have this mental image of an apprentice watching footie on his iPhone unaware that he's pumping the suspension up to bursting point.

IT R RONG too.  Those speed limits are for HGVs.  7.5 tonners are subject to the same speed limits as other non-HGV commercials, i.e. 70-60-50.  Unless they've changed the rules again.

Not WONG, All vans without side windows are limited to 60mph, not that anybody takes any notices of that though.

Clarification of national speed limits for vans - courtesy of the DfT

It is very important for drivers to bear in mind that vans (and all goods vehicles not exceeding 7.5 tonnes) are subject to lower national speed limits than cars on both single and dual carriageway roads.

Whilst a car may travel at up to 60 mph on single carriageways and 70 mph on dual carriageways vans are only allowed to travel up to 50 mph on single carriageway roads and 60 mph on dual carriageway roads.

[Remember that the speed limits quoted here are national limits, a lower speed limit will apply in built up areas and on many local roads.  Where a lower speed limit is signed you must comply with those lower limits].
