Frankly, your car would hold the road better if you wrapped the wheels with sausagemeat instead of a stomil, but thats kinda the appeal

Has nobody spotted the utterly shite Renault R19 TSE with the leather seats yet?

Yeah, I did find that but forgot to post it up.

It's the equivalent of my BX Preview in a way: looks completely povvo boggo from the outside, but has really nice seats.

White, and 1.4 too.

That Bitter is another one that was sold by the garage I used to work at G Eric Hunt Ltd Bramhope Leeds. Theres a couple of other Leeds registered ones that keep cropping up on ebay as well. I think we only ever sold 1/2 dozen so not a bad survival rate and chances are I worked on that when it was new.. as most of em came back in for some work or other. When the garage shut down the Bitter club bought all the spares and there was quite a few in the stores room .. Good luck

Regards the Bitter - just be prepared for hap dash build quality. The dash is held in with pieces of wood. The rear bumper is GRP with bolts set in glue and they used to rust solid when we worked on em at 1 / 2 year old.

We didnt have to do much on the corrosion front other than window frames but I left the garage in 1990 so they were only ever 4 / 5 year old at that time.

Everything was hard work however I really liked em and they drove as you would expect any large Vauxhall barge.

I wouldn't turn my nose up at one
