michael1703
I think the jist of this is: He owns a shitty camper and wants a top quality repair for £700 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Restoring-Vw- ... 2a259e01a1 Thats awesome, he wants his Camper van primed, painted and lacquered inside and out, plus the bumpers repaired and painted, PLUS sort out the wiring that he's buggered up, for 700 quid! I can just imagine what that would be like, he'll be ringing up every fucking day and coming round your unit checking up and picking holes in every bloody thing. and you can guarantee he wouldn't pay on that basis! When I used to be in the trade 10 years ago that Glamper Wagoon would have eaten £200 of materials easy peasy.Production paper, panel wipes, thinners, filler, knifing putty, hardener, masking tape, masking paper, compound, mops, oh and paint and clear which is crazy money these days and you'll need a lot!Think it'll be a get what you pay for job. ie he'll get complete shit.Did send him a missive mind, asking if he could give me the number of whoever can do that lot for £700 as I got a couple of grands worth of work for them ha ha Got a bay in my workshop that needs similar plus a few bits more, I quoted £4500 on the job

messerschmitt owner
Buy this and be a WINNARIt's orange, ugly, and fucked. What more do you want? Currently £454.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1967-goggomob ... 27cccd79b4And a large bill with uwe staufenburg gets you all the bits needed. I'd ride in it. But then again buying one would make it my third goggomobil. The 400cc one is the one to go for if you're a speed freak.
ProgRocker
I may need to amend my starting priceTwit What an insane starting price. Would have expected it for an SM but not a BX. There was even a rough looking DS on eBay a few months ago for £2,995.
worldofceri
Just noticed this is a pearoast from the 'bargains' thread. Soz. To be honest, I wonder if the high price is ill-judged stunt to attract offers. Current offer £
Cavcraft
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-IVECO-RE ... 4abe2b5950 'This truck starred in my new film 'Ferrous Bailer's Gay Moth' about a scrap man who took a day off from stealing cars and lying about MOT exemption to take his pet moth to the vet. Derek had spotted another male moth showing off flitting round and got so excited he burnt his knob on the lightbulb, resulting in him fainting and Arthur having to give him the kiss of life. They both went to the HIAB (High Intensity Animal Burns) unit at the local vets and have been inseperable ever since. The film highlights their life together, how they sleep in a high vis jacket at race meetings and the sad demise of Derek as he ate what he thought was a mint imperial. It's a stirring, emotional film about young love, lying bastards and stolen Granadas. Available at all good Betamax stores and quite a few shit ones too. cort16
This reminds me of one of those crumbling pile stately homes where they can't use the west wing because the roof fell off http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/mersedes-350-se-automatic-116-series-4-door-sedan-1980-owned-since-1983/113103067

Gompo
Hmm, I'll admit I've not seen either Quantum Of Solace or Skyfall; in which one is there a Barried up Hi-Lux? Here For the same money you could have this, which looks/sounds boss although it's not the best advert ever Here ..Alternatively for less than a 3rd of either asking prices you could have this beauty. I am not sure if I was oblivious to their existance or if I have blocked it from my mind: Pretty good workhorse Fair enough, Oss

Its got a cracked windscreen and a bit of rust along the top edge will need dealt with before the screen can be replaced, so its effectively unsellable and therefore fit only for the bridge. If anyone can offer it a better home than that its theirs. nearly a years ticket and new cambelt. PM me
