It's v6 deals at C&C

V6 Xantia with3 months T&T £500

I've just bought this...

Always wanted one. I must be mad.

Excellent work sir, we all succumb to something off the ebay tat thread sooner or later

Heh, I saw it on the FrenchCarForum before it was on here, Didn't expect it to be for sale quite so soon or so cheaply, but then, who wants a 3.0V6 motor these days - it's being replaced with a mint Xantia HDi Exclusive. I fancy a bit of burbly V6 goodness, and I love Xantias - because I'm a pervert, obviously..

I cheekily emailed the seller of this yesterday offering £200. Got a text two hours later telling me to come and get it :D

That Xantia V6 has belonged to French Car Forum regulars for yonks... it's been really well cared for including a gearbox rebuild at 140k. Judging by your username, we should get on like a house on fire!

Be sure to report back...I have an unscratched itch for a Xedos 6 :D

rare 216 GTi with the 128bhp twink, this will be an ace little blaster

Ooh, that's ace.

However..

BOOT SEAL LEAKING A LITTLE.
That's likely to be rust around the hatchback hinges letting water in.

That Xedos looks brill for £200!

I remember driving a non-turbo 405 diseasal Estate back in 1994 (A one year old 'Style'?), just after passing my test.

It was the first diesel car I'd driven, and I honestly thought it was broken - I think I was pushing the accelerator so hard, I stretched the throttle cable. It really was that s-l-o-w.

(Still wouldn't say no to that one, likes :) )
