Ross_K
Another CITREON C5 V6 for R9UKE. This one's in Dublin so you can save on ferry tickets €995, but no tax or test so €500 might be more realistic. Check out the tax disk: €1203 for 12 months. No wonder it hasn't been taxed since this time last year. http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2347582

Ross_K
It's gone up since that car was last taxed. A 3 litre car would set you back €1400 this year. My tax is €660 for the year on a 2 litre...

DSdriver
For €1400 I would expect roads surfaced with vellum with gold foil blocked line markings. Is the price of fuel the same as over here?

Cavcraft
Howcome everything about this screams 'wrong'? Mr_Bo11ox
Ireland is a shite country for car enthusiasts as far as I can see. Theres hardly any interesting old roadside rammel, car tax costs a fuggin packet, and cars themselves seem to cost about 4 times as much as they do here. Dunno what insurance costs over there but i'll take a wild guess at 'absurd'

Aye, it's a good looking thing, and refreshing to see a less-is-more theme, but fifteen large? It'd buy you plenty 911, and that's where I'd put my money. Still, horses for courses. Is the price of fuel the same as over here? I'd expect a fucking blowjob after standing in a queue at the tax office for half an hour for that kind of money, but hey ho - the government's gonna tax its way back into the black. Unleaded was €1.679 when I filled the wife's car this morning. It takes €90-100 worth usually. Diesel's a bit cheaper at €1.589..

Alexg
That Ital is wonderful and the pictures appear to pay homage to the work of THE DOCTOR but this...Here is your opportunity to own one of the rarest classic cars.... is quite frankly utter nonsense
ayrshirelad
I havent got a Y reg car in my fleet. The Y reg is what is missing. What is interesting is the caroet having the drivers heel rest on the passenger side, is this one of the Itals that was originally left hand drive for export, but never went and was concerted to right hand drive again? If it is, it is a very rare bird indeed. Not many of those are knowen to survive.A dealer in England converted them as far as i know.
Mash
That Ital is utterly, utterly horrible! These have always been the one car I just can't find any affection for, it just screams everything that was wrong with BL at that point. Sorry! It's also identical in every way to one a teacher had when I was at primary school!

ayrshirelad
Well each to theie own. I once apon atime hated the Itals. However as i now own 3 of them as well as 3 Marinas, i can say they drive a lot better than they look. The a PLUS ENGINE in the 1300s is a very good wee engine. The 1700s are very torquey and quite speedy when they want to be as well as economical too. The 2ls aint that common but are good also. However if we all liked the same would be a boaring word!
