Mr_Bo11ox
What! That is seriously the WORST ‘half-car’ trailer I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. Why cut halfway through the front doors! HIDEOUS.
HillmanImp
What! That is seriously the WORST ‘half-car’ trailer I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. Why cut halfway through the front doors! HIDEOUS. And the door he has cut through seems to have a better paint match to the door on his actual car. I am quite tempted to get one of these 'car trailers' and to weld it on the back of a Cinquecento so that it looks like a whole car. I swear they must have been about to draw the back just as the pubs were ahout to open. 'Ere Mario!, T' Orse and Groom is about to open an' they are doin' a special on Tim Taylors like'. 'Alright Luigi, I am just finishing off t'Fiat car. Fuggit, who needs boot space, where's your straight edge?'
Spiny Norman
I can never understand why these things are so under-valued. A Crappi with the same engine can fetch £5k all day long if it's in decent nick, but these usually struggle to do half that.
pompei
I've always loved the look of those Scimitars but isn't the technology a little, er, medieval? What are they like to drive?
pompei
And if you didn't fancy a common or garden Scimitar, you could always go for the Hillbilly option ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HILLBILLY-HOT-ROD-RAT-ROD-CUSTOM-PICK-UP-/160870564517?_trksid=p4340.m1982&_trkparms=aid%3D555001%26algo%3DPW.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D29%26meid%3D1671871779183248536%26pid%3D100009%26prg%3D1013%26rk%3D1%
dollywobbler
I've always loved the look of those Scimitars but isn't the technology a little, er, medieval? What are they like to drive? Heavy but with plenty of grunt. Good fun with keen handling, but let down by iffy electrics and a cheap, plasticky feel. Definitely great value though, as you can say much the same about a TR7 V8 and people will pay £5k all day for one of those.

Cavcraft
I'd suggest this was pretty MEGA but my dad had one (same colour too) and it was, to put not too fine a point on it, absolutely knob explodingly awful. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1987-Fiat-Pan ... 337b973782 'The Panda Sisley was reputedly Agnetha's favourite car and she personally drove one around Sweden singing about Waterloo.' skattrd
20v CQ, apart from the lazy/crap photography and 218, 000 miles on the clock it doesn't seem too bad. Ok, stuck TRE, pain in the arse maybe, but cheap to fix, exhaust blow, should be cheap fix, occasional smoke on startup - could be cheap fix, or maybe not, but don't they all do that? my brothers 20v always smoked a bit on startup. Anyway, no tax, 6 months MOT £375 seems quite reasonable.
Ross_K
should really be in the bargains thread but I have no idea what these things are worthhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-S-CARG ... 2a21b593a7 They sell for crazy money, even in Japan. messerschmitt owner
Nice alloys. I've just bought a set. £70. I could have a whole car for £130 more. Don't know if I could afford another petrol one though. I'd suggest dolly wobbler spends money on one rather than weld the gt.
Ross_K
Christ, some people like to talk themselves out of a sale don't they? What's wrong with "XM for sale. 2.0 turbo. Registered in NI. No papers. Starts and drives. Bring a trailer."? That or sell the engine to someone on 205gtidrivers.com and weigh in the rest.

HillmanImp
Like Jenny Agutter this 504 Coupe was well fit in the 1970's but sadly has seen better days and could do with a refurb.
