That a A30 is lovely if only for the fact it's a local car.

My grandparents had a black A30 with a close reg, DDX 623 not sure if it was from the same garage though but most likely as they also lived in Ipswich. Each year they'd drive to Scotland and back a few times in this and their subsequent cars which included a NSU Prinz 4 and a 1000TT, Renault 8, 10 and 12 (from Green Ace Garage where my Dad also worked for a bit) before buying their first Jap car, a Datsun 120Y (from Bolton's?). I've asked my Dad to dig out the photos from their motoring hols as there are lots that feature their cars.

Do us a favour, YugoLada, when you add to this thread, could you be ever so kind and either learn how to add a picture of the car, or at the very least a few words that somehow describe what it is we're clicking on? Can't be too hard, several members know how to do it these days....

Thanks mate!

If you're going to have a bodykit on a car then it simplay has to be from this sort of era.

'Splitter Has A Small Crack'

Yeah, mine had too, but I've been with her 29 years now and I can assure that's DEFO not the case anymore.

Is there an MG equivelant of Autoshite somewhere? Only whilst I'm sure they might not know that wob is filler, mingebag=rubbish spec or tightwad, or indeed that ATCIBE is an anacronym, it would appear the word 'Sebring' is some kind of in house expression for a mass of bodyfiller and primer fired from a cannon at a Sherpa Sports.

'this MGB GT has WORKING OVERDRIVE'

Fan-fucking-tastic, me old teapot. My Audi has working washer jets so on your theory it has to be worth £1,000 even though it's full of chicken wire and filler?

How fannytastic is this? I recon it'll go for a few bob but potentially a good buy I as there can't be many /any left as tidy as this.

"...needs little work to make a concourse example."

Indeed it does. And possibly an enormous amount more after that, just to be on the safe side.

That was the original idea, yep, although I was thinking more of a 613 than a 603*. Unfortunately that plan relied on selling the BMW for a significant part of its funds, and I've pretty much decided to keep the BM. Plus I'd have had to sell the SVX and the 75 as well, and not managed to do either of those things yet.

*Still would if I had the cash though - I remember drooling over this at Stondon.

There's plenty of these knocking about at less than 2k lately securing their status as A grade shite.

He seems to have smeared chip fat on the lens of his box brownie as not one of these pictures is in focus.
