Tayne
sorry and at the risk of one of those 'embarrased' emoticons due to me have having a few alcoholic drinks tonight I don't understand? It's a 1986 XR2 that was last on the road in 2008? I don't see the problem here? Call my cynical if you will but... Seller states barn find with only 45k on the clock, one owner, but no history. I look at it and see potentially 22 years on the road, a 5 digit odometer, an original purchase invoice from a dealer in Torbay and a current location of Turra (636 miles from Torbay). It just doesn't add up for me.

Well he did say he's got no history to back it up - and since Ford were daft (or inspired?) enough to think their cars would never go past 99,999 miles, all he can state is what it shows. His alternative is to day it's "definitely" 45k, or perhaps to suggest it's 145k or even 245k. These fetch good money BUT you can buy a painted one even this close to summer for the same money. I've got one - bought mine for a fair bit less when it was covered in snow - when it did thaw out I was amazed to find it was painted. I'm sending the kids out after school tomorrow with sheets of P250 wet n dry..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Highly-Modifi ... 4d00a5e019 Them doors is phat. The mother-ion-law might struggle though. Am I old and thick - what I can't understand is.... The insurance is cheap for this car due to the amount of mods. My renewal quote as a young driver for a standard MG zr + was £3000 after declaring all the mods this went down to £1500 and has not incresed for two years. vulgalour
Why does the Mini say MINGEE across the front? Am I missing something here? In my head, that's how I'd imagine a five year old pronouncing "minge" very loudly at the top of their little lungs after first learning the word from a mischievous Uncle who wants to embarrass his sister in the middle of Lidl when on the fraught weekly family shop.
