You know when a vehicle's looks, on first glance, are "challenging" (XJS, Scorpio, Impreza Googlyeyes?) but you get used to them, and after a while, you think, "Yeah, that's not so bad"......

There's the exception.

So ugly they've banned them from The Oval. (There are other reasons, but I prefer my explanation.)

Yeh, I'd say it's possibly one of the best - despite the mileage. Sadly I don't have £2600!

I wonder if the mileage is actually still in KM.

So 184k kilometers would be 114k miles.

Looks amazing in anycase.

That bootlid badge looks odd to me.  I didn't think the Allegro 3 was ever sold with the 1098 engine - I thought that was replaced with the 998cc A+ when the Allegro went plastic-bumpered?

When Allegro 3 was launched in autumn 1979 the 1100 continued (the only engine change was the 1500 got twin carbs).  The 1100 was replaced with the 998 A+ when the series 3 was facelifted in March 1981.

Nice colour and interior combo on this £500 range rover. The engine works but the advert says it doesn't drive so I presume the gearbox is borked.

If it’s just the xyz switch on the side of the gearbox that’s faulty, that could be a real bargain

it looks like there's some new is calipers fitted, good branded tyres etc. The issue with Dunoon is you either need to take a trailer on a small ferry or drive 14,000 miles via winding roads to get back to Glasgow.
