The proper way is to take it to a dealer and get something replaced and coded to cure the fault....expensive. There is a bosh that an aftermarket seller invented, that tricks the ECU into thinking it's all good by adding resistors or some other electrical magic. The 10 grand might only cause people to question the seller's sanity rather than really attract anyone genuinely interested in this. No doubt this will end up on the banger track again.
