Not the smoothest or quietest but they do sound happy being thrashed a bit. Pre facelifts look much nicer, I think anyway, but that's a wierd hole in the front bumper. Another negotiating point I'd say. And it looks nice and shiny but check it very carefully for laquer peel. Once it starts it never stops. When I bought mine (same colour) there was one small patch in front of the sunroof, by the time I got rid the whole car was riddled with it, though admittedly that was nine years later. The fact it has got this far without it starting means it might be a good one. Check rear arches for rust obviously but if they are OK then I expect the rest of the car will be. But yeah obviously I'd say it was a perfect first car. Also good for teaching someone how a car works though I'm certain it would be reliable.
