Thank you kind sir!  I'm afraid the comments I made about the green one will have to apply here too.

What exactly is this? A luxurious people carrier or does it have camping functionality?

I know there's no kitchen or bog, but do those seats become usable beds or anything like that?

They're not campers although I imagine you could sleep in the seats. They're designed for mega long US style road trips in comfort probably at 14mpg

I remember when I was a kid our relatives in Canada had one and used it to drive to Florida very year.

hah thats a fun one! often times these late registration madness are the results of someone at the DVLA fucking up when issuing a replacement and or age related plate, to replace a plate thats just been taken off the vehicles

often times you will see them accidentally issue a plate based on the date of first registration rather then the year of manufacture,

and indeed H332LJU is a 1995 issue, Age related plate for the H prefix period, and checking the plate history shows it indeed had private plates (back then more often then not the DVLA would just issue a vehicle a new age related plate, rather then return the old plate when a private plate was removed)

tho this is one curious in that theres nothing 1990 on its record, so why it given a H prefix plate instead of a B prefix plate in 1995, is a good question! good old DVLA shenanigans!

From first glance, this 240 looks like a bargain at £995, but probably one of the most interesting MOT histories I've ever seen

Very bizarre. Great spot.

I can only assume it was washed weekly in salt water and did all of it's (tiny) mileage on Belgian Pave. Or it was owned by an old fella stinking of  'old money' and the MOT man saw him coming a mile away.

Glutton for punishment.

How weird. Some of the notes on the MOT are taking nit-picking to the extreme (rusty wheels?), but even then, it sounds like one of the most abused 240s I've seen. A broken front suspension arm takes some serious doing on these, as they are made out of vault doors and since they are single skin don't have any rust traps.

"2007 Ford Fiesta tenth"

Erm no, nice try, but it's a 2004 Ford Focus...

And the best bit-

"Low cigarette lighter consumption insurance"

What's that even supposed to mean 🤣

Do you just mash random words and phrases together when selling on Facebook these days 🤣

Edit - I actually missed the last line -

"I am waiting for you in private"

Sounds ominous 🤣

Nice to drive and decent on fuel but fuck me do they rot.

Too right they do! I think the (at least) the last two MOTs on mine they said 'this'll be the last year it sees the road' as it was welding upon welding and the rest looked shit. Absolutely loved the way it drove and it didn't hang about, either.
