1983 AUSTIN AMBASSADOR 2.0 VANDEN PLAS EASY PROJECT FOR SOMEONE HANDY | eBay

It doesn't run, it's rougher than a badger's arse after a vindaloo and it's just shy of two grand.

Love the bodykit on this, but the seller is a tad off-putting:

Quote

"We only had 2 weeks to get it ready and MOT'D. The fuel tank was dry and centre balance pipe was split, so for quickness and ease we put a fuel cell up front."

"I only registered this in my name in 2008 as it was on the old logbook and was pre digitalization of DVLA  this made it un-traceable for anyone trying to find a 130 sport to steal

only we know where the car is and it has gone back to its secret location"

"we have no problem keeping this so if it doesn't sell it will stay in its secret location!!"

It is never a good sign when you get exasperated when reading a description...

Yeah I can see how fitting a non-standard tank in the front of a rear engine car is much quicker and easier than replacing half a foot of rubber tube!

1987 Renault 9 GTL in Chorlton, seller is discussing breaking it for the approx five people who need spares in this country. Probably in too nice a shape for that but not clear is £800 is "the right price" for the whole thing. Short plates and seats look fantastic.

Has subsequently been MOT'd and is now up for £900.

Great* fit and finish on these.

Notice how the side window seals completely ignore the swage line of the van.

the embossed starcraft logo on the wood is squint

This is a bit of a bargain, these are closer to 10 grand in Germany regularly. Probably as high end as conversion vans went in the 90s.

What exactly is this? A luxurious people carrier or does it have camping functionality?

I know there's no kitchen or bog, but do those seats become usable beds or anything like that?
