Well that must be find of the year. For any Leyland licker anyway. I never knew anything about this and am amazed to find one over here but it really is too far gone isn't it? If it was still in Australia you'd have half a chance of finding the parts but over here you've got no chance. That bonnet is toast as well as the missing glass and that's probably just the start of your problems. Shame.

It looks like somebody wants to have it sat rotting in their field more than I want to have it sat rotting in mine luckily. It'll be interesting to see what it goes for in the end.

That crashed Chevy that turned up in that there London.

Unfortunately the seller doesn't mention the odd story, of how it wound up abandoned and smashed up.

Oh...

I'm out.

EditLink to some of the story  www.hemmings.com

The Hemmings article is dated 2015. That car been sat like that for so long. Still not imported.

My mate pinged me that whilst I was walking the dogs, I chucked a bid or two on it but the reserve appears to be over what I’m comfortable throwing on an unknown and driving halfway up the country for 😅

Wow! Was it that long ago?

I remember that story like it was yesterday, maybe I have some kind of odd car memory. But I can't remember that thing err...  You know that whatsit...  Oh who cares anyway.

My Dad and I give each other directions with car locations. Turn right just after where that Citroën XM used to park etc.

Weirdly tempted by this, Slowest Diesel Imaginable in pocket-sized Lupo flavour. Would be a good WBoD if you could get past the clattery cold starts.

Shame it's 1999 and hence £295 to tax rather than post March 2001 when it would be £30!

Ford Caveat 1.6, £1375 Warwick

Dealer is doing his best to absolve responsibilities. I'd say this looks alright but for the worrying arse covering description:

"This is a part exchange vehicle for sale and is supplied as seen with the balance of the mot until July 2023 and 16 service stamps. PLEASE look at all the pictures and read the description fully to ensure that this is the car for you. The car also has an ABS light on. This car is however sold with a 3 month AA warranty and this also gives you their basic 12 months breakdown facility. The car appears to drive very well and is sold to you as you see it, we are not going to repair any of the known defects and nor can these be claimed via the warranty. As we say have stated please study ALL of the advert to make sure that this is the vehicle for you - NO OFFERS!"

vauxhall corsa.B. 1.5d 1993 | eBay

12 months, best engine they had (minus the turbo) and only £600. It's on the register so you could drive round car parks rubbing up against 4x4 bumpers and name it Purple Atki*.

That's probably the cheapest way into a CF camper for someone who can weld!  For that reason though, it's not the van for me, which is a shame, because in many ways it does look good. Thanks @Cavcraft
