Nice looking W124, has cow, extra seats, and what appear to be non-ventilated front wings.  99p no reserve, Isle Of Wight - doesn't Ma @Lord Sterling live there?  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134336434949?hash=item1f47135305:g:3yMAAOSwjKxjdJts

Ex Fatha_Outlaw, was given it in exchange for building a garden wall, with the engine in 2 cardboard boxes in the back. It went over the road to a neighbour who rebuilt the engine, and he used it as a daily, would have been 76/77/78?
We called it Tom, as it was the same colour as a tomato.... I WAS 6 YEARS OLD!!!

Ooh that's rarer than a rare thing! I'd love to view it but sadly not in a situation to take it on.

Thank you, but it's an option I've already considered a few years ago and rejected.

For 1500 of your pounds, you can have this giffer-owned Focus with the ugliest arse of the range. Seems well appointed inside, but MOT history shows an advisory for grot.

That's right, if you hold a stethoscope up to it, it apparently sounds like a Pendolino.

PS CAR SMELLS DAMP INSIDE WHERE KIDS TIPED BOTTLED WATERS

With the bottles still there it seems:

s-l800.webp

And to top it all off it has an undeclared engine swap with mods that allegedly make a total of 220 bhp:

2003 vw mk4 golf 1.6 with conversion into 1.8t 180bhp aum engine 220bhp stage 1 remap 6 speed box 130k on engine 160k on shell still declared as 1.6 has Bora front end.

All yours for a mere £600 or your nearest offer! Maybe he'll swap for bottled waters?

Renault 10, looks splendidly shabby. Would. £668RNM Kent. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304703486006?hash=item46f1be3836:g:AYAAAOSwakhjSBmTPicture 1 of 12

When I was at college back in the early '80s there was a bloke who had two of those in that colour. He was an early shiter and took great care of them.  As the car is in Kent I wonder if it is one of his.

Isn’t this worth it just for the 1.8t conversion?
I’m no expert but this has got to be a great way of getting a 1.8t engine conversion and all the bits

I have a Focus Titanium 1.6 with an auto box, it handles great, but is so slow the chassis is hardly challenged. On inclines on the motorway the thing downshifts to 3rd if you are going at 70, it is out accelerated by anything with more than 1 litre under the bonnet, and to cap it all, if you drive it with even the slightest bit of enthusiasm, it bare does more than 25mpg.
