PS CAR SMELLS DAMP INSIDE WHERE KIDS TIPED BOTTLED WATERS

With the bottles still there it seems:

And to top it all off it has an undeclared engine swap with mods that allegedly make a total of 220 bhp:

2003 vw mk4 golf 1.6 with conversion into 1.8t 180bhp aum engine 220bhp stage 1 remap 6 speed box 130k on engine 160k on shell still declared as 1.6 has Bora front end.

All yours for a mere £600 or your nearest offer! Maybe he'll swap for bottled waters?

Renault 10, looks splendidly shabby. Would. £668RNM Kent. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304703486006?hash=item46f1be3836:g:AYAAAOSwakhjSBmTPicture 1 of 12

When I was at college back in the early '80s there was a bloke who had two of those in that colour. He was an early shiter and took great care of them.  As the car is in Kent I wonder if it is one of his.

Isn’t this worth it just for the 1.8t conversion?
I’m no expert but this has got to be a great way of getting a 1.8t engine conversion and all the bits

I have a Focus Titanium 1.6 with an auto box, it handles great, but is so slow the chassis is hardly challenged. On inclines on the motorway the thing downshifts to 3rd if you are going at 70, it is out accelerated by anything with more than 1 litre under the bonnet, and to cap it all, if you drive it with even the slightest bit of enthusiasm, it bare does more than 25mpg.

I think I would question the quality of the work! But you are probably right

Oh yeah you would have to go through it all like, just when we was looking to convert me lads lupo gti last year,  folk were asking silly money for just bare engines that you couldn’t even hear running

I like that but many will not. In it’s defence, I expect it was rotten as a pear before the modifications.

But all of that work and then fit a fuck-awful four-cylinder VAG Diesel engine?

Have we had this beauty yet? It's identical to one my parents neighbours owned in the mid 1980s, complete with back seat. I remember the fella saying at the time it was an unusual one because of the interior setup. I didn't realise it was a specific 'Double Plus' model though.

I've many happy memories of bouncing around in the back of my mate's mum's ropey ex AA H.A at a similar time in the 80s.

Want.

Nice looking W124, has cow, extra seats, and what appear to be non-ventilated front wings.  99p no reserve, Isle Of Wight - doesn't Ma @Lord Sterling live there?  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134336434949?hash=item1f47135305:g:3yMAAOSwjKxjdJts

Oh dear 🤯 lovely. I miss mine. I really need to get back into a nice petrol car.

Ma is no longer in the IoW sadly. Retired from the NHS about a year or so ago. I picked her up from there when she finished, she's back in Brum town now.

We can tell that from the badge on the engine.

Potatographed Anglia van, anyone?

Picture 1 of 12

Ford Anglia Van | eBay

There's a fairly simple* way to buy it, involving flying to Portugal, examining it, paying two different people, flying home, then going to Birmingham to pick it up weeks later.  So, in a nutshell, it involves going to a strange land where you can't understand the locals, putting yourself at the risk of being bummed/mugged/used a drug mule AND you still have to also go to Portugal.

'It is not being used since 1985'

Neither's Birmingham, M8
