Metro corner:

First up: 3 door Metro 1.4Li "Automatic with hand controls" spares or repairs

Next, a 1994 1.1c 5 door "Unfortunately doesn’t start but it wouldn’t take much to get it going"

My Mum's '83 Metro Auto had hand controls. And PAS (specialist fitted). And a big battery from a truck, because she only used it to bumble about the village.

Oh well, tough things them Landies, how bad can it be?

"I tried to tow it away complete but the chassis was so weak I had to break it up where it was and bring it home in bits."

Services offered: Finance Available

Finance specialists! I wonder how long it's been since someone took out finance on a J reg Escort?

Why buy from us?  Finance Available Good or Poor Credit History Considered

I'm in! I want the 1994 experience of financing a used Escort.

SORRY NO FINANCE AVAILABLE ON THIS VEHICLE DUE TO THE AGE

ah shit. Still, that makes a change from what I usually get, which is "sorry no finance available, sir, because you have the credit score of a man who defaulted on the payday loans he took out to invest in cryptocurrency"

1 Owner from new

how is that recorded on the V5?

Not sure if this is the right place for this as technically not for sale (but it might be)

Low mileage giffer owned Ovlov 940 MOT'd and running fine but heading for the crusher due to owner giving up driving..

At Trents recycling in Poole

Once cars have arrived at Trents, they terminally doomed aren't they? That Ovlov looks way too nice to be cubed.

The hood and the windscreen must go, (do you need wipers with aero-screens?) but otherwise this Lomax appeals.
Quite a rarity as it has GSA powertrain and 75% GSA suspension and brakes.

Fully sorted, I bet this could embarrass one of those Morgan tricycles on bumpy roads.DD9B5079-1DDC-4B8E-9863-64C346DC3547.thumb.jpeg.a6e0252bf6d03b68a5cb3d3815aac643.jpeg

You'd have to pay me to drive another one of those. The Mk5/6 Escort must be the most uninspiring and dullest cars to have to own and drive. They are just so boring and lacking in any feeling. You'd have thought after the Mk4 Ford would have upped their game, but no, they stuck to the accounts way of cheap is best. Horrible, horrible cars.

Couldn't agree more, they even smelt hateful inside. True throw away motoring at its worst.

Rough as toast, but surely these are going to rocket in value sooner rather than later.

I thought that at one point too but this era of sports bikes remain unloved. Even a spot on a massive film still hasn't made them desirable. See the man whose held onto a '90 ZXR750 H2 for years in the belief it represents a pension😄
