Particularly as my family are doing my head in and a 20-hour drive home in this seems positively luxurious from where I am. Also, I might get to find out why it's been fitted with a draught excluder. That is why Hamilton went faster in the Spanish GP last weekend. Those tassels really work. The first owner being a factory owner from Wigan and the other 5 being unable to afford an oil change? Again that’s not what I mean . The Fords prices are driven by nostalgia but they’re basic cars . These big jags are amazing machines and as much as I like old fords the run of the mill stuff is not. Too me they’re massively under valued for what they are . barrett
That's not a great example of an S-type (wires AND whitewalls???!) but yeah, they still do seem like a real bargain especially considering how strong Mk2 prices have remained. And when everyone says the S-type is a much better car it seems like a no-brainer really. I should probably do the ropey old 60s Jag thing before the petrol runs out. cort16 and Remspoor
